Flutefriends

In Paris? Hungry?? go to “Le Sot l’y Laisse”!!! we had our flute-dinner there…

When you travel, it’s so important to enjoy the local cuisine. 10 years ago I met my friend Eiji Doihara in Daikanyama / Tokyo. At this time he was chef de cuisine at Maison Paul Bocuse. He is such a passionate person about best food and wine – and about music!! He went back from Tokyo to Paris to open his wonderful brasserie “Le Sot l’y Laisse” at 70, Rue Alexandre Dumas close to Opéra Bastille. A fantastic place where Eiji Doihara prepares his outstanding menus for you at a reasonable prize. Hosted by charming sommelière Akiko Doihara you will have the best time in this wonderful town. Believe us! We’ve tested this for you!

Before summer we had a marvellous dinner at this inspiring place. After his great masterclass at Conservatoire Superieur my friend Denis Lupachev, Principal from Mariinsky Orchestra, was quite hungry. Good that we knew where to go…

Together with Sophie Cherrier and Philippe Bernold, the famous Professors at CNSMDP – we enjoyed a wonderful evening there!
